Abstract
AI is increasingly part of how we analyse data, generate knowledge, and support decisions across research and professional practice. This talk introduces AI as a decision partner, highlighting why human responsibility remains essential even when AI systems appear intelligent or authoritative. The session explores how responsible AI practices help safeguard human rights such as dignity, fairness, and privacy, especially in everyday AI use. Through accessible examples, the audience will gain practical insight into how human judgement, accountability, and ethical awareness shape the impact of AI. The goal is to encourage confident and responsible AI adoption using AI productively while remaining mindful of its societal consequences.
